Land Rover has introduced the Range Rover SV Ultra, now the highest-specification version of its flagship SUV. The SV Ultra focuses on premium materials and advanced in-cabin technology, especially in audio and occupant comfort. The vehicle does not feature major changes to its exterior design or overall layout.
Key Highlights
- Range Rover SV Ultra debuts as the flagship SUV with advanced interior technology
- Features include electrostatic sound system and Body and Soul Seat with haptic feedback
- Powered by a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with 537 HP and 750 Nm torque
- Exclusive Titan Silver paint and 23-inch alloy wheels introduced for this variant
Exterior
The SV Ultra introduces a new Titan Silver paint, exclusive to this variant. Satin platinum and silver chrome finishes appear across the body, complemented by SV-branded detailing. The SUV rides on 23-inch alloy wheels with satin platinum inserts and new Range Rover centre caps.
Interior and Technology Upgrades
The SV Ultra features a new Orchid White and Cinder Grey interior. The seats display a mosaic perforation pattern, while the centre console includes gloss white ceramic finishes on the gear lever and buttons. A rattan palm wood veneer replaces standard trim, running across the dashboard and door panels. Additional enhancements include illuminated SV Ultra sill plates, configurable ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, cabin air purification, and electrically operated rear sunblinds.
The SUV is equipped with a 13.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 13.7-inch digital driver display, and a heads-up display. Rear passengers have access to 13.1-inch entertainment screens. Connectivity features include wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and voice control.
Audio and Comfort Innovations
A standout feature is the electrostatic sound system, which uses 21 thin-film speakers placed in the headrests, seatbacks, headlining, and other cabin areas. This system works with the Body and Soul Seat (BASS) and Sensory Floor, using seat-mounted and floor-mounted transducers to convert audio signals into haptic feedback. The system offers six wellness modes, adjusting vibration patterns to promote relaxation or focus for occupants.
Performance Details
Powering the SV Ultra is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, producing 537 HP and 750 Nm of torque. The engine pairs with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. Land Rover claims a 0-100 kph acceleration time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 261 kph. A P550e plug-in hybrid version is also available, though detailed output figures have not been released.
CarBike 360 Says
The Range Rover SV Ultra stands as a true benchmark in luxury mobility, blending cutting-edge technology with unmatched craftsmanship. Its refined cabin, immersive audio system, and flagship positioning highlight the brand’s commitment to innovation and exclusivity. For buyers seeking the ultimate expression of comfort and performance, the SV Ultra firmly establishes itself as a class-leading luxury SUV.
