Lifetime Zero Per-Ride Commission: Rapid's SaaS Innovation Strengthening Earnings, Auto Captains to take payments directly from customers

Key Highlights:
Rapido, India's foremost commuter app renowned for its diverse range of services spanning bike-taxis, autos, and cabs, has unveiled its groundbreaking Software as a Service (SaaS) model tailored specifically for Auto Captains. This strategic maneuver marks a significant departure from the conventional aggregator commission-led approach, as Rapido pioneers a lifetime Zero Commission structure for auto captains, thereby alleviating the burden of exorbitant commission rates and empowering them to assume control over their earnings. Under this pioneering model, Rapido relinquishes its involvement in price determination, fostering a transparent and inclusive service ecosystem for all stakeholders.
Mr Pavan Guntupalli, co-founder of Rapido, said, "We are incredibly excited to integrate the SaaS model to Rapido Autos. We have seen tremendous success in every city where Rapido Autos is operational. Nation-wide, we have enabled auto captains to earn over R2700 cores since inception and strive to put maximum earnings to those who provide us with the commute. Our cutting-edge SaaS platform transforms the traditional commission system for auto captains. It is a groundbreaking approach which guarantees that captains bear only a nominal access fee, rather than a commission per ride. This marks a noteworthy change in the industry bringing in a more enabling revenue model for our captains."
Rapido stands as a leading commuter app offering auto, bike taxi, and cab services across 100+ cities in India under various operational models. The app facilitates swift booking/discovery of bike taxis, autos, and cabs with minimal wait time, all while ensuring affordability for its users.
Users can easily download the app on iOS/Android, log in from their accounts, and commence booking. Upon booking, the designated captain will promptly arrive at the pick-up location. With Rapido, bid adieu to traffic woes and embark on seamless city exploration.
Having been successfully employed by cab captains, the SaaS model-based discovery platform will now be extended to Auto Captains, promising a more streamlined and dependable digital experience. Operating on a nominal access fee, the SaaS model empowers Auto Captains to optimize their earnings, ensuring a fair share of their hard-earned income at the end of each day. By directly receiving payments from customers, captains liberate themselves from commission constraints, maximizing their lifetime earnings and fostering an inclusive platform that benefits both captains and customers alike.
