The third-generation Renault Duster has launched in India, introducing five variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno Plus, and Iconic. Renault has also unveiled an Iconic Launch Edition based on the top-spec Iconic trim. This special edition aims to offer exclusivity to buyers and is available in a unique dual-tone Mountain Jade Green with a Black roof. The other five variants come in five additional colors, including the green shade.

Design and Exterior Details
The 2026 Renault Duster Iconic Launch Edition maintains the rugged character associated with the model. The front features eyebrow-like LED DRLs, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, a silver skid plate, and a gloss black grille with bold ‘DUSTER’ lettering. Both the Duster lettering and the Renault logo have a subtle yellow finish. On the sides, the special edition includes yellow contrast stripes, Himalaya-inspired graphics, and a yellow highlight along the body cladding with ‘Iconic’ lettering.
The roof rail also displays yellow ‘Duster’ lettering. The 18-inch alloy wheels are finished in black, unlike the dual-tone wheels on the standard Iconic variant. At the rear, the design remains similar to the standard version, including a roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper, washer, defogger, silver skid plate, and LED taillamps with a connected LED light bar.
Interior Features and Comfort

The interior of the Renault Duster Iconic Launch Edition features a dual-tone black and Mountain Jade green theme with leatherette upholstery. The leatherette finish extends to the steering wheel and door panels. The dashboard and door panels blend textured surfaces with soft-touch materials. AC vents are positioned vertically at the outer edges and horizontally at the center. The center console includes physical toggle controls and a rotary drive-mode selector in select variants. Seats have thick cushioning, contrasting yellow stitching, and leatherette upholstery.
The Iconic Launch Edition is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, ventilated and 6-way power adjustable front seats with manual lumbar support, dual-zone automatic AC with rear vents, an air purifier with a PM2.5 filter, 48-color ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, rain-sensing wipers, and connected car technology.
Safety and Engine Options
Safety features include 6 airbags, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, auto headlamps, hill descent control, a 360-degree camera, and parking sensors at the front, side, and rear. The Duster also offers a level-2 advanced driver assistance suite with 17 features.
Engine options for the new Duster include a 1.3-litre turbo petrol with mild-hybrid technology and a 1.8-litre turbo-petrol strong hybrid. The Iconic Launch Edition does not offer the 1-litre turbo petrol engine. Specifications for the strong-hybrid variant will be announced before deliveries begin in November.
The 1.3-litre turbo-petrol Iconic Launch Edition is priced at Rs 16.99 lakh for the manual and Rs 18.49 lakh for the automatic. The Duster competes with models like the Tata Sierra, Skoda Kushaq Facelift, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victoris, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, and Volkswagen Taigun.
