Royal Enfield Bear 650

In India, Royal Enfield has formally introduced the Bear 650, which is priced between Rs 3.39 lakh and Rs 3.59 lakh. In addition to the Classic 650, Royal Enfield's expanding 650cc collection also includes the Bear 650, which is positioned as a scrambler. The Bear 650 seeks to provide an exciting off-road and on-road experience with its distinctive appearance and cutting-edge technology.

Key Highlights

  • The Bear 650 produces 56.5Nm of torque, 4Nm more than the Interceptor 650, thanks to its 648cc parallel-twin engine.
  • Weighing 2 kg less than the Interceptor 650, it’s also the tallest Royal Enfield 650cc model with 184mm ground clearance.
  • Equipped with a TFT display, dual-channel switchable ABS, and a unique two-in-one exhaust system.

Design and Build

The Bear 650 is a distinctive scrambler-style motorcycle because of its tough yet elegant appearance. Its off-road prowess is improved by its 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tire arrangement. The Bear is the tallest motorbike in Royal Enfield's 650cc portfolio with 184mm of ground clearance. Its lightweight frame and two-in-one exhaust provide for a smooth and agile ride. Bookings and test rides for the Bear 650 will commence on November 10, 2024, with deliveries expected to begin later in November.

Engine and Performance

The 648cc parallel-twin engine that powers the Interceptor 650 also powers the Royal Enfield Bear 650. This engine, which is cooled by both air and oil, produces 47 horsepower at 7,150 rpm and a maximum torque of 56.5 Nm at 5,150 rpm. The 6-speed gearbox and motor work together to produce power smoothly and dependably, ideal for off-road excursions.

Enhanced Riding Experience

The Bear 650 has enhanced ergonomics designed for scrambler-style riding thanks to its broad handlebars and relocated footpegs. In addition, it has the same circular TFT display as the Himalayan and Guerrilla 450 versions, complete LED illumination, and a USB Type-C charging connector. Dual-channel switchable ABS is another feature that makes the Bear 650 safer and more adaptable for a variety of terrains.

Color Options and Availability

The Royal Enfield Bear 650 will be available in five striking color options:

  • Wild Honey
  • Petrol Green
  • Golden Shadow
  • Boardwalk White
  • Two Four Nine

Conclusion

A exciting addition to the 650cc market, the Royal Enfield Bear 650 combines the powerful performance and contemporary features of a classic scrambler. The Bear 650's remarkable torque, distinctive style, and cutting-edge technology make it ideal for both urban trips and daring off-road adventures.
