Recently a test mule of the upcoming RE Classic 650 has been spotted once again. This time through the spy images, better clarity on the updated and added features. The spy images have fueled the excitement among the Royal Enfield enthusiasts, envisaging this new addition in the 650cc lineup as the next iconic model.

Classic 650: Design

Classic 650 is expected to inherit designs from its predecessor, Classic 350. From the spotted images we can say that the bike will have a familiar round headlight, round mirrors, and teardrop-shaped fuel tank, coloured with chrome accents. Point to be noticed is that the bike has been spotted with a split seat configuration along with the iconic pea-shooter exhaust, which will be positioned symmetrically on both sides.

Classic 650: Engine

Classic 650 is known to be available with a 648cc parallel-twin engine, delivering power of 47bhp and 52 Nm of torque. With a six-speed gearbox, the engine promises an exhilarating ride experience. Moreover, the distinctive exhaust note from the dual setup adds a charming appeal to the motorcycle.

Classic 650: Riding Experience

Being inspired from RE 350, RE Classic 650 will feature conventional telescopic fork at the front and dual spring at the rear, to ensure a comfortable ride. Talking about the braking performance, it is augmented by a single disc setup at both ends. This comes equipped with dual-channel ABS as an enhanced safety feature. The motorcycle will be seen riding on one spoke wheels fitted with tubed tires.

Modern Conveniences Integrated

Taking convenience into consideration, Classic 650cc will boast a twin-pod instrument cluster along with a USB charging port. Additionally, a side-stand cut-off sensor will enhance rider safety and convenience.  
Price Details
As anticipation builds around Classic 650, the motorcycle is expected to price around Rs 3.25 Lakh. Positioned between the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650, the Classic 650 aims to serve a classic riding experience with better enhanced safety features.
