The 2026 Himalayan Odyssey offers three distinct formats. The Himalayan Odyssey Original is the flagship ride. It is a 16-day expedition from Chandigarh to Umling La. The route passes through Himachal Pradesh, Zanskar, and Ladakh. Up to 150 riders can participate, split into two batches. Riders will receive full logistical support throughout the journey.

The new Himalayan Odyssey Explore is designed for experienced motorcyclists. It is a 10-day unsupported ride. Participants will carry their own luggage and navigate the route with minimal backup. The group size for this format is limited to 30 riders.

Royal Enfield is also introducing the Nubra Circuit and Kargil Circuit. These are fly-in formats that start from Leh. Riders will combine motorcycling with cultural experiences across Ladakh. These circuits offer a different way to explore the region, focusing on both riding and local culture.

Significance and Participation

The Himalayan Odyssey is known for its challenging routes and scenic landscapes. Riders travel through Ladakh, experiencing high-altitude roads and remote areas. The event has become a major fixture in Royal Enfield’s calendar. It attracts motorcyclists from across India and abroad.

This year’s edition is notable for its expanded format options. The inclusion of unsupported and fly-in rides allows more flexibility for participants. Riders can choose an experience that matches their skill level and interests.

Royal Enfield provides full logistical support for the flagship ride. This includes backup vehicles, medical assistance, and technical support. The unsupported Explore format requires riders to be self-sufficient. The fly-in circuits focus on combining riding with cultural immersion.
