Available only in one variant, the Chetak e-scooter variant costs Rs 1,34,814, and will retail from KTM Solapur.

With the launch of its latest electric vehicle, Bajaj Auto has revived the Chetak brand, this time as an electric scooter. The e-scooter model has been launched in the south-western city of Solapur in the state of Maharashtra. This will help Bajaj extend its two-wheeler portfolio especially in the EV market segment, and also directly boost the availability and expand the presence of the Chetak electric scooter.
The Bajaj electric scooter is available only in a single variant - the Chetak Premium priced Rs 1,34,814 (ex-showroom). The Chetak e-scooter colour options include black, chocolate, metallic indigo, and wine red themed Velluto Rosso. The Chetak e-scooter runs on a 3.8kW electric motor and a fixed, immovable 3kWh IP67 lithium-ion cell pack. The Chetak e-scooter top speed is 70 kmph while it is claimed that the actual running range is 90 km when set to Eco mode.

Bajaj Auto in partnership with KTM has made the Chetak scooter available in as many as twenty-four states as of now. The customers who are excited and willing to own a Bajaj EV, can do online bookings of the Chetak by paying Rs 2,000 as token money. The Bajaj e-scooter will be accessible from KTM Solapur, Maharashtra.
As per reports, Bajaj Auto is planning and working on widening its fleet of electric vehicles by launching latest EVs in the low and mid-speed categories. Though it is yet to be confirmed without much details, it is expected that Bajaj will produce a low-cost Bajaj EV model based on the Chetak platform.
