The SUV is set to offer multiple front-wheel-drive (FWD) powertrain options, including Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), Electric Vehicle (EV), and hybrid variants. The Clavis EV, based on the same platform as the ICE models, is anticipated to follow the initial launch. Kia India plans to manufacture nearly 1 lakh units of the Clavis annually, with 80 percent of the volume dedicated to the ICE range, some of which will be earmarked for exports.
