Suzuki Scooters & Motorcycles India has recently announced that it will surpass the GST 2.0 benefits for the Indian customers. With the introduction of the new GST tax reform, the prices of the scooters and motorcycles will be revised with effect from September 22, 2025. As the auto industry gears up for the upcoming festive season, the Japanese manufacturer’s latest price revision promises to boost affordability and increase sales figures.
The government introduced the new bill at the 56th GST Meeting Council. Under the new bill, scooters and bikes that are lower than or equal to 350 cc will now be placed under an 18% tax slab, and those beyond 350 cc will be taxed at a flat 40%. Thus, Suzuki decided to surpass full GST benefits across all its lineups for both bikes and scooters under the portfolio.
The Government of India has passed the new rules and regulations for the GST across the nation. According to the latest rules and regulations, all automobile brands will be forced to reduce prices as per the new amendment of the GST tax slab. Under the new structure, motorcycles and scooters with engines less than 350 cc will attract an 18% GST rate instead of the previous 28%.
While models above 350 cc face a higher 40% tax. Suzuki, aligning with this government direction, has proactively made its products more competitive during a crucial market period. However, this same GST tax reform is also applicable to passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles. Let’s check out the latest prices of the bikes and scooters of Suzuki after the implementation of the new GST 2.0 tax regime.

Suzuki India has recently announced that it will surpass the full GST 2.0 benefits by reducing the prices of the passenger scooters in India. After the new tax slab is implemented, scooters with engine capacities less than 350 cc will be taxed at an 18% rate.
The brand’s best-selling scooter, the Suzuki Access 125, experienced a price cut of Rs 8,532 in India. Similarly, the original price of the Suzuki Burgman Street has been decreased by Rs 8,373. The following list shows the revised prices of the scooter with GST benefits after the price rate cut.
Models | Old Price (ex-showroom) | New Price (ex-showroom) | GST 2.0 Benefits After Price Cuts |
Rs 1,02,400 | Rs 93,877 | Up to Rs 8,532
Rs 94,000 | Rs 86,177 | Up to Rs 7,823
Rs 1,00,600 | Rs 92,227 | Up to Rs 8,373
Rs 1,17,700 | Rs 1,07,902 | Up to Rs 9,798 |

Similar to the revised scooter prices, Suzuki has also decided to reduce the prices of the motorcycle lineup across the portfolio. Those bikes that have an engine capacity of less than 350 cc might be placed under a new tax regime of 18%, and those with an engine capacity of more than 350 cc would be taxed at 40%.
The following list shows the revised prices of the Suzuki motorcycles in India after the implementation of the new GST 2.0 tax reform.
Models | Old Price (ex showroom) | New Price (ex showroom) | GST 2.0 Benefits After Prices Cut Rates |
Rs 1,38,401 | Rs 1,26,881 | Up to Rs 11,520
Rs 1,47,901 | Rs 1,35,590 | Up to Rs 12,311
Rs 1,98,501 | Rs 1,98,476 | Up to Rs 16,525
Rs 2,16,500 | Rs 1,98,476 | Up to Rs 18,024
Rs 2,16,000 | Rs 1,98,018 | Up to Rs 17,982 |
The GST cut isn’t limited to the vehicles alone. Suzuki has also started reducing prices on spare parts and accessories, directly reducing maintenance bills for customers. This focus on the total cost of ownership further strengthens Suzuki’s value proposition and augments customer satisfaction.
With these reductions coming right before the high-traffic festive season, Suzuki might anticipate improved sales volumes and heightened brand engagement. By passing on the entire GST 2.0 benefit, Suzuki has reaffirmed its commitment to customer value and set new benchmarks in affordability and service in the Indian two-wheeler landscape.
