The highly anticipated Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is set to debut in India by March 2024, following an intense teaser campaign. With robust construction, powerful engine, advanced features, and competitive pricing, it aims to dominate the adventure touring segm
After so long of anticipating and speculating the launch dates for the much awaited V-Storm 800DE , Suzuki has decided to launch its gem in the Indian market by the end of March 2024. The rumour has been fueled by the ongoing teaser campaign on social media by a prominent Suzuki big-bike dealer.
It is to be noted that the bike has already made its expo-debut, as Suzuki has showcased the bike in Bharat Mobility Expo held in February 2024. V-Strom 800DE is ready to shake up the middleweight adventure touring segment in India.
V-Strom 800DE will be housing a liquid-cooled, 776cc, 270-crank parallel-twin engine. The engine is known to deliver 84.3hp of maximum power and 78 Nm of peak torque. No wonder, the powerhouse will make sure to provide best, comfortable and smooth rides to the buyers, on all terrains.
For your adventure loving nature, V-Strom 800 DE will come with a steel frame akin to the GSX-S naked bike. What we can expect is the bike to weigh 230 kg including a fuel tank capacity of 20 litres. Needless to mention, this adventure motorcycle is carved out to take its rider to places which can’t be reached easily.
The bike will be equipped with best in class suspension features by Showa. The Suspensions include adjustable front fork and a monoshock with remote preload adjustability. This will help V-Strom 800DE for a controlled ride over varying terrain.
Focusing on the braking system, it features dual 310mm discs at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear. Riders can easily navigate through any scenario with the help of dual-channel ABS as standard and with the option to deactivate the rear ABS whenever required.
The wide range of electronic features, V Strom 800DE is all set to give high competition to its rivals. Talking about the versatility offered by this motorcycle, it will be equipped with specialised Gravel mode, a bi-directional quickshifter, four riding modes and three traction control settings. Suzuki's Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist feature are additional features which will make your riding easy and convenient.
As we are reaching closer to the launch date, everyone is eagerly waiting for the arrival of V-Strom 800DE. With an expected price tag of Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), the bike will be competing highly with Honda Transalp 750 and the Triumph Tiger 850 Sport.
With its expected power packed performance and advanced features, Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is all set to capture the hearts of adventure enthusiasts across India. As the countdown to its official launch begins, anticipation spiked among riders eagerly awaiting the opportunity to ride this adventure motorcycle.
