Key Features and Specifications

The Model Y Premium features an all-black interior with a blacked-out headliner and premium trim. Buyers can also choose an optional Zen Grey cabin theme for a modern look. The SUV includes a larger 16-inch touchscreen that offers improved responsiveness and a smoother user interface.

The Model Y Premium provides up to 2138 litres of storage space. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Tesla claims a WLTP-certified range of up to 500 km on a single charge, making it suitable for long-distance travel.

Safety and Model Variants

Tesla emphasizes the safety of the Model Y range. Both the standard Model Y and the new six-seater Model Y L have received top safety ratings from organizations such as NHTSA, Euro NCAP, and IIHS.

The Model Y L, launched last month, is priced from ₹61.99 lakh. It offers seating for six passengers, a claimed range of up to 681 km, and cargo space of up to 2539 litres. These features cater to families and those needing extra space.
