The new Duster marks Renault's return to the mid-size SUV segment, where the original Duster was once a leader. The company announced full pricing and detailed features for each variant at launch.

The new Renault Duster is available with three turbocharged petrol engine options: Turbo TCe 100 MT, Turbo TCe 160 MT, and Turbo TCe 160 DCT. The lineup is structured across five trims: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, Techno+, and Iconic. Each trim offers a progressive increase in features and equipment.

Prices for the Turbo TCe 100 MT start at Rs 10.49 lakh for the Authentic trim (Rs 10.29 lakh with R Pass), Rs 11.69 lakh for Evolution (Rs 11.39 lakh with R Pass), and Rs 13.49 lakh for Techno (Rs 13.19 lakh with R Pass).

For the Turbo TCe 160 MT, Evolution is priced at Rs 12.99 lakh (Rs 12.69 lakh with R Pass), Techno at Rs 14.49 lakh (Rs 14.19 lakh with R Pass), Techno+ at Rs 15.29 lakh (Rs 14.99 lakh with R Pass), and Iconic at Rs 16.99 lakh (Rs 16.59 lakh with R Pass).

The Turbo TCe 160 DCT offers Techno at Rs 14.49 lakh (Rs 13.99 lakh with R Pass), Techno+ at Rs 16.69 lakh (Rs 16.29 lakh with R Pass), and Iconic at Rs 18.49 lakh (Rs 18.09 lakh with R Pass).

All variants of the new Duster come with LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, skid plates, 17-inch wheels, a 7-inch TFT driver display, tilt and telescopic steering, all power windows, rear AC vents, and remote keyless entry. Over 35 safety features are standard, including auto headlamps and a structure engineered for 5-star safety.

Higher trims add features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, paddle shifters (for DCT), an electronic parking brake, cruise control, a rearview camera, a speed limiter, LED fog lamps, an electric panoramic sunroof, an electrically powered tailgate, dual-zone climate control, and connected car technology.

Top trims offer 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, leatherette seats and dashboard, an OpenR Link system with Google integration, a 10.25-inch TFT driver display, powered and ventilated front seats, multi-sense driving modes, 48-color ambient lighting, a 360-degree 3D camera, and up to 17 ADAS features.

Hybrid Variant and Future Plans

Renault has not yet announced prices for the strong hybrid Duster. However, demand is high, and the hybrid variant is sold out for 2026. Bookings for 2026 deliveries are closed, with new bookings for 2027 expected to open around Diwali 2026. Metro cities account for 39% of total hybrid bookings, indicating strong urban demand for electrified vehicles.

Renault India recently updated its Kiger and Triber models. The company plans to launch a 7-seater Duster, likely called Bigster, later this year or in early 2027. Renault has also revealed the Bridger sub-4m SUV concept, expected to launch by Diwali 2027 and be manufactured in India for global markets.
