In 2024, Honda displayed many EV conceptual bikes at the EICMA. Now, after a year, the teaser for the new electric bike appears to signify the same profile. Let’s check out the possible details of this electrified bike from Honda.
Design similar to EV Fun Concept
Honda recently dropped a teaser showing a heavily camouflaged test mule. The bike seems to be the pre-development unit and signals the brand's EV Fun Concept, previously showcased at EICMA 2024. This sudden introduction of the EV bike indicates the brand’s future vision for the performance-oriented electric bike.
The Teaser and What’s Known

In the teaser, the brand showcases its TFT instrument panel. We can also see the bike's front fascia, which is complemented by a horizontal LED DRL and a single-sided swingarm with high-performance 17-inch tires. These tires are arched with 150-section Pirelli Rosso 3 tires. We get a cue from the design that combines sophisticated technical advancement with minimalist aggression.
The teaser reveals the surround sound of the hum of an electric motor, which proves that this will be an electric motorcycle. Other noticeable details include rear disc brakes and rear monoshock suspension. The bike will have a sporty appeal with USD front forks, clip-on handlebars, and a short tail section.
Expected Power Specifications
As part of the EV Fun Concept, the bike might be equipped with a performance-centric battery pack. The expected performance could be equivalent to that of a 500 cc sports bike. The peak power output of this electric bike could be around 50 HP, and with strong acceleration, the motorcycle could reach a top speed of about 90 kmph to 100 kmph. Additional features might include different riding modes, regenerative braking, and traction control.
However, there is no official confirmation from the brand that this bike will ever launch in India anytime soon. Honda’s only EV offerings to India are the Activa E and the Honda QC1 for now; Indian bike enthusiasts will have to wait for Honda’s full-fledged electric sport bike.
Conclusion
The initial pre-development launch of the EV bike in the UK demonstrates that Honda is now working on the electrification philosophy with wider sustainability goals. This bike is one of Honda's decisions to go fully electric in its entire product lineup by 2030. However, this bike will take a longer time to be released in India. Honda would not care about the recent release of any EV bikes in India in the next two to three years because the 2W Indian automotive market is still controlled by gasoline-powered vehicles.
