Tata Motors is ready to launch the much-awaited Tata Sierra, which is all set to make its official comeback on November 25, 2025, in India. With this, the vehicle will reignite the nostalgia and excitement among SUV enthusiasts across India. Tata Motors has integrated this vehicle with the latest technology upgrade. This new upcoming SUV will be positioned between the Tata Cruvv and Harrier under its portfolio.
The return of the Sierra represents more than just a relaunch. It marks Tata’s commitment to innovation, premium design, and advanced safety. Both ICE and EV versions are on the roadmap, with the ICE variant taking the lead this November. The brand will also launch the electric version of Sierra by 2026. This new SUV is ready to give tough competition to rivals such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Let’s take a closer look.

The 2025 Tata Sierra features a modern interpretation of its legendary predecessor, staying true to the original’s boxy profile and signature alpine window. A gloss-black grille, split LED headlamps, and a chunky skid plate add a robust flair at the front. While looking at the car from the side, the car comes with sporty flush door handles and bold dual-tone alloy wheels. The rear showcases slim connected LED taillights and a roof-mounted spoiler, reflecting urban sophistication with a rugged twist.

While sitting inside the Tata Sierra, the car promises an immersive experience with its triple-screen dashboard layout, boasting an intuitive driver display, a large infotainment unit, and an entertainment screen for passengers. Furthermore, the car offers a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, and a JBL premium sound system.
Under the hood, the car will be powered by an all-new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, delivering around 170 HP of power and 280 Nm of peak torque. This robust engine will be paired with both 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT transmission options.

The upcoming Tata Sierra will be priced aggressively, with estimates ranging from Rs 11 lakh for the base model to Rs 21-25 lakh for higher trim levels. This strategy places the Sierra in direct competition with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, and its sibling, the Tata Curvv, making it a compelling choice in the lifestyle SUV segment.
The 2025 Tata Sierra signifies Tata Motors’ forward-thinking approach and passion for best-in-class engineering. With stunning design, advanced features, and robust powertrains, the Sierra is poised to set fresh benchmarks and shape the future of SUVs in India. The official launch on November 25 promises to be a defining moment for both Tata Motors and Indian car buyers.
