Kia is ready to unveil the second-generation Kia Seltos today, December 10, 2025, in a global premiere from South Korea, promising a bolder evolution for India's fiercely competitive midsize SUV segment. This new upcoming vehicle will be building on its blockbuster success since 2019. The all-new model grows larger with sharper styling inspired by the Telluride, featuring a massive Tiger Nose grille, vertical headlamps, and connected LED taillamps.
Talking about its dimensions, the car might have a large wheelbase compared to the previous variant. With a huge wheelbase, the stance will be bigger and suitable for superior road presence and wheel options up to 18 inches. The upcoming mode would be more stylish with premium upgrades. Let’s check out what possible updates the upcoming Kia Seltos offers for Indian customers.
The exterior adopts aggressive lines with gas-strut bonnet support and a stronger body structure for 5-star safety ambitions. Redesigned bumpers, LED DRLs, and fog lights enhance the muscular stance, while a larger size improves stability. Connected tail lamps and pentagon rear accents signal premium intent against rivals like the Hyundai Creta.
Kia has improved the material used to make the safety improvements much better than its previous generation Seltos. The brand has used high-strength steel across the chassis that gives the SUV more refined design rigidity.

As per the recent spy shots reveal, the car might offer a premium cabin upgrade with 12.3-inch dual screens, which will be Syros-inspired controls, and a sleek three-spoke steering wheel accented by ambient lighting. Practical touches like a compact gear lever, aluminum pedals, and physical buttons prioritize usability over flashy triples.
Other upgraded features will be an astonishing portrayal of ambient lighting on the dashboard and door pads. The car will also get a new gear level along with new cup holders with a retractable cover on the center console.

The most prominent feature will be the all-new panoramic sunroof, which will be the very first time the Seltos will be offered to Indian customers.
Talking about its safety protocols, the car will now be equipped with a 6-airbag system as standard, a 360-degree camera, and the most prominent ADAS Level 2 safety suite. With Hill Auto Assist, Lane Assist, and Tyre pressure monitoring system.
Under the hood, the car will now be powered by a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol-hybrid engine. This engine might produce a power of 158 HP with peak torque. However, no further details of the engine specifications have been disclosed by the brand.
This Seltos aims to dominate with smarter tech and uncompromised safety, setting new benchmarks. Considering the price, the car will be positioned from Rs 10.71 lakh to Rs 19.81 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
