The recent spy shots reveal that the 2026 Renault Duster retains its traditional boxy silhouette, a hallmark of its robust character. However, the India-spec version will feature unique styling cues such as vertically positioned LED tail lamps replacing the international V-shaped ones and a redesigned roof-mounted spoiler with notched edges. These tweaks add a distinctive touch to suit local preferences while maintaining the rugged appeal.

The SUV is slightly bigger than its predecessor, offering more cabin space and comfort. Dual-tone alloy wheels, chunky body cladding, and roof rails continue to amplify its adventurous persona. It is expected to launch in multiple color options, enhancing its appeal to diverse buyer preferences.

Interior Upgrades

The 2026 Duster features an all-new dashboard layout focusing on functionality with a modern twist. It comes equipped with a generous 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, alongside a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.

Inside, the cabin rewards occupants with comfortable black fabric upholstery and a spacious layout. Safety and convenience are prioritized with six airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt pretensioners, a 360-degree camera system, and advanced driver assistance features, including hill hold and descent control.

While official powertrain details for India are awaited, early reports suggest the new Duster will be powered by turbocharged petrol engines. Entry-level variants are likely to offer a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit, while premium options may feature a 1.2-liter mild-hybrid petrol engine or a 1.6-liter strong hybrid powertrain. Transmission choices will include manual and automatic gearboxes.

Safety is a standout feature in the 2026 Duster, which has already undergone testing by Euro NCAP, earning a respectable three-star rating. Indian variants will likely carry six airbags as standard, complemented by advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), ABS with electronic brake force distribution, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a 360-degree camera.
