2026 Audi Q3 spotted ahead of India launch with new design
The next-generation Audi Q3 has been spotted testing in India, showcasing fresh styling, upgraded tech, and improved performance ahead of its official launch.

The third-generation Audi Q3, revealed last year, is already on sale in global markets. The SUV is expected to launch in India later this year. Recently, the latest Q3 was seen in Mumbai without camouflage, suggesting it is in its final testing phase before launch.

- Offers a 2-liter turbo petrol engine with 207 HP and 320 Nm torque.
- The expected price is Rs 48 lakh ex-showroom pan-India.

Exterior Design and Styling

The 2026 Audi Q3 features a completely redesigned front fascia with a more upright stance. A large grille with a 3D pattern dominates the front end. For the first time in Q3, the main headlamp unit is mounted on the bumper, creating a split headlamp setup. Slim, sharp LED headlamps contribute to the SUV's bold appearance. The sculpted bumper includes a large vertical side element below the headlamps, enhancing the sporty look. A black styling element connects the honeycomb-patterned airdam to the headlamps, visually linking the grille and lighting.
From the side, the Q3 presents a premium stance with blacked-out B and C pillars, creating a floating roof effect. The gently sloping roofline merges into an integrated roof spoiler. The Indian version is likely to feature 18-inch wheels. At the rear, the Q3 adopts a sharper design with a connected full-width tail lamp unit and an illuminated Audi logo at the center. Segmented taillamps on either side offer a modern touch. Muscular wheel arches with bold cladding and the integrated roof spoiler above the rear windshield add to the sporty profile.
Features and Powertrain
The 2026 Audi Q3 offers an all-LED lighting setup, including pixel-style DRLs and customizable lighting signatures. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 11.9-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display, connected car technology, and a 12-speaker Sonos sound system.
Safety features may include 7 airbags, level-2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an adaptive damper system, and auto park assist.
For India, the Audi Q3 is expected to come with a single powertrain option. It will likely use a 2-liter turbo petrol engine producing 207 HP and 320 Nm of torque. This engine is expected to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The Q3 will most likely feature Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard.
Expected Launch and Rivals
The 2026 Audi Q3 is anticipated to launch in India later this year. The luxury compact SUV could be priced at Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Upon arrival, the Q3 will compete with the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Lexus NX in the Indian market.
