The 2018 Lexus NX looks aggressive with sharp lines running all over, signature spindle grille with the brand logo in the centre illuminated through a blue backlight, and LED headlamps with independent LED DRLs below them. The sporty stance gets carried forward through plastic cladding on wheel arches, side skirts and roof rails. The rear end also gets sharp LED wraparound taillamps and a roof-mounted spoiler. The SUV runs on 18-inches alloy wheels.
The cabin of Lexus NX looks plush with optimum use of soft-touch materials and a premium leather upholstery. The rear seat converts into a full-fledged flatbed with just a press of a button. The infotainment facilities of the SUV is taken care of by a 10.3-inch multi-information touchscreen. Under the hood of the hybrid Lexus NX, you get a BS-IV compliant, 2494cc, 4-cylinders inline turbocharged petrol motor. The petrol engine alone generates 152 bhp; however, when the electric motor works hand-in-hand, it pumps out an impressive 194 bhp @ 5700 rpm, and a peak torque of 210 Nm @ 4200 rpm. A 6-speed E-CVT gearbox transmits power to all the wheels with the help of a dual-clutch plate. There are four drive modes in the SUV- Eco, Normal, Sport and Sport Plus. The unique feature of the engine is, it can run either on electric or petrol or a combination of both the system.
