The updated Citroën C3X launched in India at Rs 7.91 Lakh

​Citroen India has recently launched the new variant of the C3 lineup. As a part of Citroen 2.0—Shift Into The New, the first car under this initiative has launched today with new colors and updated features from the standard model. The brand with the regular C3 has now introduced the C3X series in India.

The new edition model is now poised to challenge competitors like the Maruti Baleno and Tata Punch with its unique blend of SUV-inspired design, advanced features, and refined comfort. The car aims to deliver comfort, convenience, and safety across every journey. Let’s check out the details of the all-new C3X and how this variant is different from the standard C3.

​Citroen C3X: Design and Dimensions

The all-new Citroen C3X carries the same silhouette as that of the standard C3. The C3X shines, offering a sporty, fresh, and rugged body with an increase in ground clearance that blends the muscular appeal of an SUV and the practicality of a hatchback. It features a dual-tone color with distinct color options for buyers.

The design of the car is enhanced by the addition of the new 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, roof rail, and subtle chrome accents that give it an intrusive urban SUV stance. The C3X trim level bookings have begun today; customers can get their deliveries after the booking is commenced, and the delivery of the car is expected in the first week of September 2025.

​However, a 360-degree camera is optional on C3X Shine variants. Even the adaptive cruise control is only offered on the C3X Shine Turbo Automatic transmission.

Engine and Performance

The brand offers two engine options to choose from: a 1.2L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine and the same engine induced with a turbocharger. The naturally aspirated engine produces 82 HP and 115 Nm of peak torque, mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. Whereas, a turbocharger engine delivers 110 HP and 205 Nm of torque. This turbocharged engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and a 6-speed AT as an option for customers.
