Tork Motors slashes the Kratos R e-motorcycle price by Rs 37,500, offering a limited-time deal at Rs 1.50 lakh till March 31, 2024, aligning with FAME II incentives, enhancing accessibility and competitiveness.

Key Highlights:
Tork Motors, has announced a significant price reduction of Rs 37,500 on its Kratos R electric motorcycle. This limited-time offer brings down the retail price to Rs 1.50 lakh, effective until March 31, 2024. The move aims to capitalize on the impending deadline of the FAME II subsidy.
Tork Motors has been proactive in adapting to market dynamics, especially concerning government incentives for electric vehicles. The recent price cut follows a previous discount of Rs 22,000, initiated by the company at the end of 2023. The combined reduction of Rs 37,500 underscores Tork's commitment to making electric mobility more accessible to consumers.
The current offer not only positions the Kratos R competitively in the market but also aligns with Tork's strategy to maximize benefits under the FAME II scheme. The FAME II subsidy, set to conclude on March 31, has prompted several electric vehicle manufacturers to introduce attractive pricing schemes to entice buyers.
The Kratos R, one of the established players in the electric motorcycle segment, boasts several enhancements aimed at enhancing performance and range. Notable upgrades include the introduction of an Eco+ ride mode, extending the range to 150 km, and refining the Eco mode for a practical range of 120 km at a top speed of 50 kmph. These improvements are geared towards addressing consumer demands for increased efficiency and usability.

Powered by a robust 9kW electric motor generating 12 bhp and 38 Nm of torque, the Kratos R offers impressive acceleration capabilities. It can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 105 kmph. Equipped with a 4 kWh battery pack, the motorcycle delivers a commendable range of 150 km on a single charge, catering to the needs of urban commuters and enthusiasts alike.
In the competitive landscape of electric two-wheelers, the Kratos R stands out, challenging rivals such as the Revolt RV400, Hop Oxo, Oben Rorr, and Matter Aera. With its blend of performance, range, and now, an attractive price proposition, Tork Motors aims to further consolidate its position in the burgeoning electric vehicle market.
As the deadline for the FAME II subsidy looms closer and uncertainties loom regarding the introduction of FAME III, prospective buyers have a unique opportunity to embrace electric mobility at a compelling price point. Tork Motors' bold move underscores its commitment to advancing sustainable transportation solutions while making electric vehicles more accessible to the masses.
