Manufacturing, Exports, and Future Plans

Triumph’s 400 cc motorcycles, produced in India, serve both domestic and international markets. Currently, India-made Triumph motorcycles are exported to 18 countries. Export destinations include Japan, Australia, Mexico, Taiwan, and South Korea. This international reach demonstrates the competitiveness of motorcycles produced under the Bajaj–Triumph partnership.
Manik Nangia, President of Probiking at Bajaj Auto, called the achievement of 1 lakh motorcycles in 2.5 years a proud moment. He noted that Triumph riders are discerning enthusiasts who value the brand’s engineering and modern classic designs. Bajaj Auto also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the premium motorcycle ecosystem and increasing engagement with riders across India.
Upcoming 350 cc Motorcycle Lineup
The Bajaj–Triumph partnership plans to expand its product range in India. Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director and CEO of Bajaj Auto, recently confirmed that Triumph will launch a new range of 350 cc motorcycles in April 2026. These new models will either complement or replace the current 400 cc lineup, which includes the Triumph Speed 400 and Triumph Scrambler 400 X.
This move responds to the revised GST 2.0 tax structure, which places motorcycles above 350 cc in a higher tax bracket. By introducing models below 350 cc, Bajaj and Triumph aim to keep prices competitive while retaining the brand’s premium image in India’s growing mid-capacity motorcycle market. More information about the 350 cc lineup will be shared closer to the launch next month.
