Key Price and Engine Changes

The Speed 400 is now Rs. 7,110 more affordable than before. The Speed T4’s price remains unchanged. The new 350cc engine in the Speed 400 produces 36.4bhp at 8,000rpm and 32Nm at 7,000rpm. This marks a reduction of 3bhp and 5.5Nm compared to the previous engine. The Speed T4’s engine delivers 28.6bhp at 7,500rpm and 31Nm at 5,500rpm, which is 2bhp and 5Nm less than before.

Design and Features Remain Unchanged

Aside from the new engines, both motorcycles retain their previous design and mechanical components. The Speed 400 continues to display the 400 badging, and the Speed T4 does the same. The Speed 400 features an inverted fork and a monoshock suspension setup. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. Braking is handled by a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS.

The Speed T4 uses the same wheel and brake sizes as the Speed 400. However, it is equipped with a telescopic fork instead of an inverted fork. No other changes have been made to either model.

Additional Model Updates

Triumph has also introduced the Scrambler 400 range in India with the new 350cc engines. This update aligns with the changes made to the Speed 400 and Speed T4, focusing on engine downsizing while keeping most other aspects unchanged.
