Hyundai India is gearing up to launch its new all-electric three-row SUV, the Hyundai Ioniq 7, based on the SEVEN concept vehicle unveiled in 2021. Expected to debut in 2024 as a 2025 model, this SUV will feature an aerodynamically sleek design with a lounge-like interior. Built on Hyundai's E-GMP platform, it will likely offer a long-range version targeting over 400 km. Key features include a 27-inch display, a panoramic OLED roof, and furniture-like seats. Pricing is expected to start around ₹40 lakh. The Ioniq 7 aims to redefine the electric SUV market with its innovative design and advanced technologies, becoming a key part of Hyundai's growing IONIQ lineup.

Launch and Design

The Hyundai Ioniq 7 is expected to launch in 2024 as a 2025 model. It will be based on the SEVEN concept, featuring an aerodynamically sleek design and a lounge-like interior that offers a futuristic and comfortable driving experience. The SUV will be built on Hyundai's Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), ensuring robust performance and long-range capabilities.

Range and Battery

The Ioniq 7 is expected to offer a long-range version targeting over 500 km of drive range on a single charge. It is anticipated to come with two battery options: a 76.1 kWh version and a larger 99.8 kWh version. These battery options will cater to different driving needs, providing flexibility for users. Additionally, the Ioniq 7 is likely to feature a 350 kW fast charger that will boost its battery from 10% to 80% in about 20 minutes, making it highly convenient for long-distance travel.

Interior Features

Inside, the Hyundai Ioniq 7 will offer a lounge-like experience with advanced features. The SUV will boast a 27-inch display, providing a seamless and intuitive interface for the driver and passengers. The panoramic OLED roof will add to the spacious and airy feel of the interior, while the furniture-like seats will ensure maximum comfort and relaxation during journeys.

Price and Competition

The price of the Hyundai Ioniq 7 is expected to start around ₹40 lakh, positioning it as a premium offering in the electric SUV market. With its innovative design and advanced technologies, the Ioniq 7 aims to set new standards in the industry. It is likely to compete with the Kia EV9, offering similar features and capabilities but with Hyundai's unique touch and design philosophy.
