New and Updated Mahindra Models

Mahindra plans to introduce a pickup truck based on the Scorpio N, with an expected price of Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom). This model, inspired by the Global Pik Up concept, has been seen testing in India. It features a dual-cab setup and retains the Scorpio N's muscular styling, with a redesigned rear to accommodate a cargo bed. The interior is likely to mirror the Scorpio N, including a touchscreen infotainment system and convenience features. Engine options will include the 2.2-litre diesel, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. Higher variants may offer a 4x4 system for off-road use.

The Scorpio N itself is due for a mid-life update, with prices expected between Rs 13.50 lakh and 25 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift will bring subtle design changes, such as a refreshed front, revised lighting, and new alloy wheels. Inside, updates may include a larger touchscreen and a new digital instrument cluster. Engine options will remain the same, with a 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel, both with manual and automatic gearboxes. Four-wheel drive will continue on select diesel variants.

Next-Generation and Electric Offerings

Mahindra is also developing the next-generation Bolero, expected to cost between Rs 9 lakh and 16 lakh (ex-showroom). Previewed as the Vision S concept, the new Bolero will feature a modern design while maintaining its rugged character. Spy shots show a boxy stance and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The cabin will be more upmarket and practical, with added features and improved comfort. Engine options may include petrol and diesel units, possibly sourced from the XUV 3XO.

A new compact SUV, internally called Vision T, is in the works with an expected price of Rs 12.50 lakh to 22 lakh (ex-showroom). This model will compete with the Hyundai Creta and similar SUVs. It will have a rugged, boxy design and a simple, modern interior with a large vertical touchscreen, digital driver’s display, and new steering wheel. Engine options could include a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a diesel variant.

Mahindra’s electric lineup will include the BE 07, priced at around Rs 29 lakh (ex-showroom). Built on the INGLO platform, this premium electric SUV will offer two battery pack options, 59 kWh and 79 kWh, and a spacious, tech-rich cabin. Features will align with other new Mahindra electric models, focusing on design and technology.

Additionally, Mahindra will launch a CNG variant of the XUV 3XO, expected to cost between Rs 8.2 lakh and 13 lakh (ex-showroom). This version will use the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and retain most features from the standard model, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, and level-2 ADAS. A dual-cylinder CNG setup may help preserve boot space.

These upcoming launches show Mahindra’s commitment to offering a diverse range of vehicles, from lifestyle pickups to electric SUVs, in the Indian market.
