VinFast Auto India is gearing up to expand its business portfolio in India. A subsidiary of Vietnam’s global international business is taking a giant leap to expand its retail network in India. VinFast has rapidly expanded its presence across India, now operating 24 dealerships in major cities nationwide. This strategic expansion shows strong progress toward the establishment of electric vehicle infrastructure by 2030.
The brand is poised to establish 35 dealerships by year-end 2025. VinFast is working strategically to enhance customer access and brand presence in India. The company aims to provide Indian customers not just vehicles, but also a seamless ownership experience powered by innovation, sustainability, and extensive support.
Rapid Growth Across Major Cities
The recently inaugurated showroom spread across impact cities, offering customers a seamless experience. These newly opened authorized dealerships are spread across strategic metropolitan and tier-1 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and many others.
This expansion will position VinFast to meet the rising demand while offering customers direct access to its premium electric SUVs, VF6 and VF7. Customers will benefit from a transparent, immersive brand journey, from initial inquiry to test drives and after-sales service.
Leadership Vision Under Long-Term Commitment
Speaking about the strategic achievement, Mr. Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast, said, “India’s enthusiasm for sustainable mobility motivates us to keep raising the bar. The rapid rollout of the brand experience showroom underscores VinFast’s long-term commitment to the Indian market.”
He later added, “We are working closely with our dealer partners to make VinFast products and services accessible to customers across the country. Our goal is not just to sell EVs but to deliver an inspiring customer-centric journey anchored in sustainability and innovation.”
Strategic Plan To Offer Customer-Centric Ecosystem

VinFast’s expansion is more than a comprehensive ecosystem that integrates with retail charging and after-sales services to ensure customers enjoy the same level of confidence, convenience, and care that defines its premium SUV vehicles. The automotive brand has also formed strategic partnerships with key industry players such as RoadGrid, myTVS, Castrol India, and Global Assure to create a robust nationwide support framework.

Boosting Local Production with Thoothukudi Plant
The most significant factor for VinFast’s progressive growth in India is defined by the establishment of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This facility spans over 400 acres and is currently assembling the VF 6 and VF 7 models with an initial annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles, which can be later increased to 150,000 units.
This manufacturing base is set to create approximately 3,000 to 3,500 direct jobs and many more indirect jobs in the supply chain, contributing significantly to Tamil Nadu’s development as a regional EV manufacturing hub.
Conclusion
VinFast’s dynamic expansion in India signifies more than just growth. With its strategic dealership network, advanced manufacturing, and customer-focused ecosystem, VinFast is not just selling vehicles but inspiring a sustainable and innovative driving experience. This journey promises exciting opportunities for customers and the automotive industry alike, marking VinFast’s commitment to revolutionizing electric vehicle ownership in India.
