VinFast Opens Its Largest EV Showroom In Chennai, Showcases VF6 and VF7

​VinFast is expanding its operations in India. The Vietnam-based automaker is gearing up for the EV market with the launch of the VF6 and VF7 SUVs. Now, the brand has opened its largest showroom in Chennai. The showroom will be facilitated by the authorized dealership network, where they will showcase the VF6 and VF7 for buyers, followed by other cars in the future.
VinFast's largest EV showroom is located in Teynampet, Chennai, and spans 4700 square feet.

The brand has announced that it will open a total of 35 showrooms across 27 cities in India by the end of 2025. Moreover, the brand has also inaugurated its first-ever manufacturing plant in Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu. This expansion of the showroom shows the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian EV market.

A New Hub for EV Experiences

With the opening of the new VinFast showroom, the nation's auto heads and EV enthusiasts have an opportunity to book a test drive for the all-new VF6 and VF7. Managed by local heavyweight Maansarovar Motors, the outlet is specially designed to offer hands-on access to VinFast’s upcoming premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7.

Chennai is renowned as the automotive hub of India, boasting a rich history and state-of-the-art infrastructure. VinFast also decided to establish its manufacturing plant in India. This strategic alignment is further underscored by VinFast’s massive new state-of-the-art EV manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The plant can produce 150,000 units annually, which are aimed at both local assembly and export to South Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

VinFast expands its EV market business in India

With the inauguration of the largest showroom in Chennai, the first showroom opened in Surat, and the first-ever manufacturing plant opened in Tamil Nadu. VinFast also announced that they are partnering with my TVS for the service collaboration. As a part of the deal, VinFast aims to establish 120 extended service centers by partnering with myTVS, a potential provider. Moreover, the brand has joined hands with BatX Energy to deal with the reuse and recycling of the battery management and stewardship.
