Vinfast will introduce its first all-electric MPV in India in mid-April. The vehicle will be marketed under two names: 'Limo Green' for fleet buyers and 'MPV7' for private customers. The MPV7 will compete with three-row electric vehicles such as the Kia Carens Clavis EV, Mahindra XEV 9S, and BYD eMax 7.
Key Highlights
- The VinFast MPV7 to launch in India in mid-April with all-electric powertrain
- Fleet buyers will get Limo Green variant, while private buyers receive the MPV7.
- A 60.13 kWh battery offers 450 km NEDC range and 204 HP output
- Buyers get 75 percent buyback scheme and free charging until 2029
Design and Interior Features

The MPV7 shares design elements with the Vinfast VF6 and VF7, including front and rear LED light bars, vertically oriented headlights, and aero-optimized alloy wheels. The MPV7 has boxier proportions to maximize interior space. The global version offers seating for up to seven occupants. The dashboard features a minimal layout with a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen and a floating centre console. The global model lacks an instrument cluster or digital driver’s display, but the India-spec version may include a heads-up display, similar to the VF6 and VF7.
Performance and Battery Specifications

Internationally, the VinFast Limo Green MPV7 uses a 60.13 kWh battery paired with a single front-mounted electric motor. This setup delivers 204 HP and 280 Nm of torque. The vehicle has an NEDC-claimed range of 450 km. With 80 kW DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10 to 70 percent in 30 minutes. The India-spec model is expected to have similar specifications.
Equipment and Safety
The global MPV7 includes a 4-speaker sound system, an electronic parking brake, automatic climate control, four airbags, ABS with EBD, and steering-mounted controls. These features are likely to be available in the India-spec version as well.
Ownership Benefits and Expansion Plans
Vinfast will offer several benefits to MPV7 buyers in India. These include a 75 percent buyback scheme based on the trade-in car's ex-showroom price, a special incentive of Rs 2 lakh for customers converting from an internal combustion engine vehicle, free charging until 2029, and a 10-year warranty. The company also plans to establish 75 touchpoints across India by the end of 2026 to support its expansion.

Conclusion
With the MPV7 and its fleet-focused Limo Green derivative, VinFast is clearly positioning itself as a serious player in India’s fast-evolving EV space. The combination of seven-seat practicality, a usable 450 km range, and fleet-ready positioning should appeal to both families and operators, especially if pricing and after-sales support are aggressive enough to undercut established rivals.
