The VinFast VF 8 measures 4,701mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,840mm. These dimensions place it squarely within the midsize electric SUV category. The cabin includes a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control, and reclining rear seats. The SUV also offers a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

For ride comfort, the VF 8 uses frequency-selective dampers. The vehicle is powered by a 228 HP electric motor, which is paired with a 60.13 kWh battery pack. VinFast claims the VF 8 can achieve up to 500 km of range on the NEDC cycle. Fast charging capabilities allow the battery to charge from 10 to 70 percent in under 30 minutes.

VinFast's India Operations

VinFast is in the early stages of establishing its presence in India. The company has operationalised its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu and begun local assembly of its vehicles. VinFast has launched three models in the Indian market so far and is expanding its dealer and service network.

The company is also evaluating additional products for India, including the VF 3 model. VinFast's strategy includes building trust with Indian consumers and strengthening its foothold through local operations and product offerings.
