Design of R3

The bike is a pure R-Series, and its front and race type screen features are said to be inspired by the iconic R1. To maximise the airflow for cooling the central air duct work with the cross-layered fairing panels.

321cc Engine

For quick performance and high efficiency, the 321cc two-cylinder motor is designed with double overhead cams, four-valved heads and  compression ratio of 11.2:1. 

Lightweight Chassis

With the help of advanced and latest structural analysis technology, Yamaha has made a compact and lightweight chassis for R3 which gives the bike the accurate strength. 

Advance Suspension

The new Yamaha R3 comes with an upside-down front fork with 37mm inner tubes. This improves the front end feel during sharp cornering and heavy braking without compromising on comfort. 

Braking System

The Yamaha R3 comes with 298 mm floating mount disc brakes in the front and 220 mm disc brakes at the rear. These high performance brakes ensure stronger braking performance and better feel on the lever for the rider. Moreover, it also comes equipped with dual channel ABS which aids braking performance in low traction surfaces by restricting wheel lockups.

Digital LCD Metre Console

The LCD metre console displays the information related to the gear position, fuel capacity, average fuel economy and real time. Moreover, a water temperature gauge, oil change indicator, clock, and trip metre can also be seen in the new Yamaha R3.
