While the iconic RX nameplate is set to return, reports suggest that it may bear a different nomenclature. Moreover, to align with the BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, the revamped version of the motorcycle will be equipped with a robust 225.9 cc engine, capable of delivering an impressive power output of 20.1 bhp and a peak torque of 19.93 Nm.

Drawing inspiration from its illustrious predecessor, the upcoming model will feature signature styling elements reminiscent of the original RX100.
Reports indicate that it will be competitively priced between ₹1.25 lakh and ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it strategically to offer a blend of affordability and premium experience to consumers. And the bike is expected to re-enter the Indian market by the end of 2024.
While enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the return of the Yamaha RX100, the Japanese two-wheeler giant has yet to officially disclose details about the forthcoming iteration of the beloved motorcycle.
Nonetheless, the prospect of witnessing the revival of this legendary model has reignited fervor among motorcycle aficionados, signalling a nostalgic journey back to the golden era of biking in India.
