Mercedes Benz EQS is essentially a greener alternative to the Mercedes S-Class. The EQS comes with a sporty stance and it is a 4-door coupe design sedan. BMW i7 is another beast on our list which provides a great range. Talking about the car's very existence, it is an alternative to the BMW 7 Series with a new look and EV-specific design upgrades. In India, the BMW i7 is in an xDrive 60 variant which generates 544hp of power and 745 Nm of torque. The electric sedan comes equipped with a 101.7 kWh battery pack paired with two motors mounted on both axles. The i7 offers a driving range between 591 km to 625 km on a single charge.

The new entrant the Lotus Eletre is also one of the massive range-providing EV vehicles on our list. The Lotus Eletre S comes equipped with a 112 kWh battery pack paired with dual motors which helps it to produce 603hp of power. The EV accelerates from 0-100 in just 4.5 seconds which is very impressive for an electric car. The Lotus Eletre provides around 600 km range on a single charge, according to the WLTP cycle. The Lous starts at Rs. 2.55 crore and goes up to Rs. 2.99 crore in India.

At the beginning of 2024, Porsche introduced an electric variant of its popular SUV Macan. The Macan EV comes based on the brand’s all-new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform. For those who are unaware, this is the same platform utilized for the Audi Q6 e-tron and the forthcoming Cayenne EV. Talking about the Macan Turbo’s mechanicals, the EV SUV comes powered by a 95 kWh battery pack paired with two electric motors which produce a combined power output of 639hp and a peak torque of 1130 Nm. Despite being a long-range EV, the Macan Turbo sprints from 0 to 100 in just 3.3 seconds and runs with a top speed of 260kph. The Macan Turbo is priced at Rs. 1.65 crore in India.

The German luxury carmaker, BMW managed to secure two top positions in our best-range EV cars list, one for the i7 and the second for the i4. The BMW i4 was the second EV offering of the BMW in India. While it’s not a new EV offering by BMW, it is an electric alternative to the 4 Series Gran Coupe which was never available in India. In Indian soil, the BMW i4 comes in an eDrive40 variant with a single motor mounted at the rear axle. The luxury EV comes equipped with 83.9 kWh of battery pack which produces 340hp of power and 430 Nm of torque. The EV starts with a price tag of Rs. 73.90 lakh and goes up to Rs. 77.50 lakh in India.
