Skoda Auto India is ready to demonstrate 2026 with mid-cycle facelifts for its bestselling Kushaq SUV and Slavia sedan, marking the first major updates since their 2021 and 2022 debuts. These refreshed models are ready to fortify Skoda's mass-market portfolio amid intensifying competition from Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, and Maruti Grand Vitara.
Building on 2025 successes, such as the new Kodiaq and Octavia RS, Skoda's strategy emphasizes localized enhancements through its Pune facility. Spy shots and invites hint at January unveilings, blending European design with India-specific upgrades like superior AC and ADAS. Let’s take a look at the upcoming Skoda cars, set to make their debut in India in 2026.
1. Skoda Kushaq Facelift
Expected Launch Date: Early 2026

The first car to be mentioned on the list is the upcoming Skoda Kushaq facelift, which targets a Q1 2026 launch. This 2026 iteration is likely to be revealed at Skoda's January 19-20 event, with prices spanning from Rs 11 to Rs 18 lakh. Auto experts suggest that the exterior revisions include sleeker LED light bars spanning the full width at the front and rear, revised bumpers, and possibly new alloys, maintaining its 4.22 m stance while sharpening the modern, aggressive aesthetic.
While getting inside the car, we can expect subtle trim upgrades, new upholstery options, and a revised UI for the 10.1-inch touchscreen and 8-inch digital cluster. Talking about the features, the vehicle might include a segment-first rear-seat massage function, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and bolstered Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise and lane keep assist. Under the hood, powertrains remain familiar, with a standard 1.0L TSI engine that generates 115 HP of power with 178 Nm of torque.
Another engine will be a 1.5L TSI engine producing 150 HP of power and 250 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. For the top-spec level, an 8-speed automatic transmission might also be available as an option for customers.
2. 2026 Skoda Slavia Facelift
Expected Launch Date: First Quarter of 2026

The only sedan in the Skoda portfolio is set to arrive in India in Q4 2026, priced between Rs 10 and Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom). The Skoda Slavia facelift times perfectly with rivals like the Honda City and Hyundai Verna updates.
Talking about the design, we can expect subtle feature changes such as a tweaked grille, LED lights, bumpers, and wheels, preserving its elegant 4.54 m sedan profile and upgraded tech. Inside, the car offers updated infotainment graphics, a potential electronic parking brake, dual-zone AC, and Level 2 ADAS to bridge the gap with competitors.
For the powertrain, the car offers a 1.0L TSI petrol engine that produces 115 HP of power and 178 Nm of torque. The second power unit will be a 1.5L TSI petrol engine that produces 50 HP of peak torque. The standard model comes with an 8-speed AT over the current 6AT for smoother highway runs.
3. Next-Gen Skoda Superb

The fourth-gen Superb eyes a 2026 comeback, possibly in February, priced around Rs 50 lakh via CBU or CKD. The model was first showcased at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It boasts a stretched 4.9 m body, sleeker LED matrix headlights, and a massive 2.84 m wheelbase for limo-like space.
Considering its refined features, it offers a 13-inch touchscreen, digital cockpit, powered seats with ventilation/massage, and a full ADAS suite. Rivaling the Toyota Camry, it revives Skoda's flagship legacy with luxury trims like Laurin & Klement. However, no further details about the powertrain units are disclosed by the brand.
4. Skoda Elroq EV
Expected Launch Date: Second Quarter of 2026

Skoda is ready to enter the Indian electric automotive landscape in 2026. Skoda's much-awaited EV, the Elroq, could arrive in the second quarter of 2026. Priced at Rs 45-50 lakh (ex-showroom), this car is ready to challenge the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the BMW iX1. This 4.4 m SUV is based on the MEB platform and offers 52 kWh and 77 kWh battery packs, offering 560 km of range.
Talking about the design, the car offers a sharp, modern, solid styling stance, with a spacious cabin that boasts a 13-inch screen, ADAS Level 2, and a 585-liter boot. As Skoda eyes EV growth, Elroq signals commitment to sustainable mobility, blending practicality with tech.
