Exterior & Design
The new gen Duster will continue to offer a boxy, rugged and tough design, similar to what its predecessor offered. With rugged plastic cladding all around the exterior, squared off wheel arches with thick cladding, and large front grille, the new Duster looks as tough as the previous gen Duster.
Features
Renault is expected to load the India spec Duster with a ton of tech and safety features. We expect it to come with ADAS tech, connected car tech, all LED setup, large touchscreen infotainment, 360 degree camera setup, etc.
Powertrain & Drivetrain
The new gen Renault Duster will most likely come with two engine options, i.e. a 1.2 litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol coupled with a 48V mild hybrid tech and a 1.6 litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine coupled with strong hybrid tech. We expect Renault to offer a CVT or a torque converter auto along with the manual gearbox option.
Segment & Rivals
Upon launch in India, the new 2024 Duster will give a fierce competition to midsize SUVs as well as true off-road capable SUVs, thus rivaling Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Mahindra Thar & upcoming Thar 5 door, Mahindra Scorpio-N, Maruti Jimny, Force Gurkha & upcoming Gurkha 5 door, Jeep Compass, etc.
