Similar to existing models, the all-new Kodiaq will continue to be assembled locally in India and feature a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. In the 2025 Kodiaq SUV, the automaker has made major design and styling enhancements and provided a new interior with several functional features. There are minor improvements in engine power output as well.

2025 Skoda Kodiaq Powertrain
Under the hood, the new Skoda Kodiaq packs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission, delivering 204 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Moreover, the SUV gets a 4x4 system as standard in both trims, and Skoda has claimed an ARAI-rated fuel economy of 18.86 km/l.
New Skoda Kodiaq Exterior
The new Skoda Kodiaq looks more rounded than previous generation models and boasts sharper design language. It gets split headlamp arrangements like previous iterations but now has redesigned LED DRLs that extend to the grille. The bumper receives functional air vents on either edge and power bulges on the bonnet. While the wheelbase is retained, the side profile of the SUV looks longer. It features aero-optimized 18-inch alloy wheels on L&K trim and a contrasting finish for the D-pillar.
On the rear profile, the new Kodiaq receives C-shaped tail lamps connected by a light band. It measures 2791 mm in wheelbase as in previous generation models but now has a 59 mm longer profile. In Sportline trim, there are blacked-out finishes on grille wing mirrors, D-pillar garnish and rear bumper, and 18-inch sportier design alloy wheels.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Interior
While some of the elements have been retained when it comes to the exterior of the all-new Kodiaq SUV, the interior has received a complete change. The dashboard is now winged with a 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment screen. The interior also features three physical dials for HVAC controls, a 10-inch digital driver display with navigation feed, and a two-spoke steering wheel. The second-row seats can be slid forward and backward for better space adjustment and also get a recline feature.
In terms of technology and safety features, the SUV now sports a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 13-speaker Canton sound system, 3-zone climate control with massage function in L&K, and a Sports seat with heating in Sportline. There is an electric tailgate with gesture control and a 360-degree camera with park assist. The all-new Skoda Kodiaq receives nine airbags as standard, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, electronic differential lock, multi-collision brake, driver attention and drowsiness monitor, and hill start assist with descent control.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq SUV Competitors
The seven-seater mid-size SUV from Skoda Auto, Kodiaq, will compete with Jeep Meridian and Nissan X-Trail. However, at the price range of Rs 45-50 lakh, it will also see competition from the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line, Citroen C5 Aircross, and Hyundai Tucson.
