New Colour Options for 2026

The 2026 Honda CBR150R now offers three color options. Last year, Honda introduced Honda tricolor and silver variants. Both options continue with the 2026 model. The new Stealth Black variant features a matte black finish with orange accents. These orange highlights appear on the front cowl, fairing, fuel tank, belly pan, and underseat structures. The alloy wheels, engine casing, and exhaust also receive the blacked-out treatment.
The silver variant uses a combination of silver and yellow shades, while the stealth black offers a more striking presence. The addition of the Stealth Black color aims to keep the model fresh for 2026. No other changes have been made to the bike for this model year.
Technical Specifications and Features

The 2026 Honda CBR150R is powered by a 149.2 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. This engine delivers 16.3 HP of power and 13.7 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed constant-mesh transmission and features an assist and slip clutch as standard.
The bike uses a Diamond (Truss) frame and is equipped with inverted telescopic front suspension and a rear monoshock unit. Both the front and rear wheels are 17 inches, fitted with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tubeless tyres. The braking system includes single discs at both ends, with dual-channel ABS provided as standard.
The Honda CBR150R has a seat height of 788 mm, ground clearance of 151 mm, and a curb weight of 137 kg. The bike features an all-LED lighting system and a full digital instrument console, enhancing its sporty and modern appeal.
Market Availability and Competition
The Honda CBR150R was sold in India from 2012 to 2017. Honda filed a patent for the CBR150R in India in 2022, but there have been no updates since. If launched in India, the CBR150R would compete with models like the Hero Karizma XMR and Bajaj Pulsar RS200.

CarBike 360 Says
The 2026 Honda CBR150R’s Stealth Black Edition reinforces its position as one of the most design‑focused 150cc supersports in Malaysia. With no mechanical changes, Honda keeps the potent 16 bhp engine and race‑derived styling intact while giving buyers a darker, more aggressive alternative to the Silver and Tricolor schemes. For enthusiasts craving a compact fire‑breathing look on a budget, this new variant strengthens the CBR150R’s appeal against rivals like the Yamaha R15 and Suzuki GSX‑R150.
