2026 Hyundai Creta Summer Edition Launched at Rs 12.05 Lakh With New Features

Hyundai Motor India has launched the 2026 Creta Summer Edition, introducing new features and upgrades across several trims. The starting price is Rs 12.05 lakh (ex-showroom) for the EX petrol manual variant. The top-end SX Premium diesel manual variant is priced at Rs 17.88 lakh (ex-showroom). These updates aim to make premium features more accessible in the mid-size SUV segment.

New Features and Variants

The Summer Edition adds features to different variants. The EX variant now includes enhanced convenience features for entry-level buyers. The EX(O) variant receives quad-beam LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, LED daytime running lights, front and rear LED indicators, a rear window sunshade, and a rear camera with dynamic guidelines.

The S(O) and S(O) Knight variants now come equipped with a dashcam. This dashcam supports driving recording, emergency recording, and on-demand video access through a mobile app, addressing the growing demand for in-car safety technology.

Higher variants receive further upgrades. The SX Summer Edition features a new 10.25-inch multi-display digital cluster and a dashcam. The SX Premium Summer Edition adds a Surround View Monitor (SVM), Blind Spot View Monitor (BVM), and front parking sensors. These additions improve safety and ease of driving, especially in urban settings.

Sales Performance and Market Position

The Hyundai Creta has maintained strong sales since its launch in 2015. Cumulative sales have crossed 1.4 million units. In the financial year 2025-26, the Creta recorded over 2 lakh unit sales, retaining its leadership in the mid-size SUV segment despite increased competition.

The Summer Edition continues with existing powertrain options. Both manual and automatic transmissions remain available, depending on the variant. These updates help Hyundai keep the Creta competitive as new models enter the segment.

Hyundai is preparing for the next generation of the Creta, expected to launch later this year or early next year. Until then, the Summer Edition’s incremental upgrades are designed to sustain demand and reinforce the Creta’s market position.
