Kawasaki is basking in headlines as the Japanese brand is unveiling its 2026 iteration of every successful bike under the portfolio. Recently, the brand unveiled the 2026 edition of the Z650RS, and now they are back with the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S model. This new version carries very similar mechanical specs to the previous model, with the latest upgrade in fuel compliance.
With new fuel compliance, the bike also receives a new paint scheme entitled Metallic Flat Spark Black for the 2026 edition. Priced at Rs 8.13 lakh (ex-showroom), the bike seems to be a Rs 54,000 hike over the previous model, reflecting updates amid rising costs and compliance norms. Mid-Cruiser Design Evolution

Looking at the bike at first glance, we can notice that the new bike is completely wrapped in a new striking Metallic Flat Spark Black color, replacing the old Pearl Matte Saga Green. The bike carries forward its modern cruiser stance with subtle aesthetic changes. A few noticeable changes can be seen as an upgrade, such as pulled-back bars and forward controls, blending sportbike DNA with relaxed posture.
Kawasaki Vulcan S: Powertrain Specifications

The most important changes occur in its new engine configuration setup. Although the bike is powered by a 649 cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel-twin engine derived from Kawasaki's Ninja lineup. This engine is now E20 fuel compliant and offers 61 HP of peak power with 62.4 Nm of torque.
Mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch, the motor emphasizes smooth, tractable delivery for city commutes and highway cruising, aided by good fuel economy from its 14-liter tank.
New Features and Refined Ergonomics

Although the whole motorcycle is unchanged for the 2026 season. A few minor upgrades are present in its ergonomics. The front fascia of the bike offers LED lighting with integrated DLRs. The same analog-digital instrumentation is present with subtle changes at certain places, such as adjustable handlebars, footpegs, and seats for the riders' heights.
