2026 MG Hector Facelift Launched in India At Rs 11.99 Lakh
The 2026 MG Hector facelift debuts in India from Rs 11.99 lakh, boasting a muscular redesign, premium dual-tone interiors, i-Swipe tech, and advanced Level 2 ADAS for unmatched safety and style.

MG India has reignited the mid-size SUV segment in the Indian market. The brand has recently launched the all-new 2026 MG Hector priced at Rs 11.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The new facelift model offers new cosmetic tweaks, premium interiors, and advanced tech to challenge rivals like the Tata Harrier and the Hyundai Creta. The bookings are live, with deliveries starting this month.
The facelift iteration retains the Hector's commanding stance but receives a subtle appeal with a massive Aura Hex grille featuring honeycomb patterns, revised bumpers, and new Aura Bolt dual-tone alloys. For the 2026 edition, the car now comes with two new color options, Celadon Blue and Pearl White. The new version is available in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations.
New Exterior Changes

The 2026 MG Hector comes with a 5-seater as well as a 7-seater configuration with refreshed cabin features. Talking about the design, the front fascia of the car offers huge honeycomb-like grills with the design of the air dam from the current model. The brand has now provided the vehicle with 18-inch new alloy wheels, and the car is equipped with an LED lighting setup with connected taillamps.
The car comes in 5 color paint schemes, such as New Celadon Blue, Pearl White, Aurora Silver, Starry Black, and Glaze Red.
Feature-Rich Interiors

Cabin upgrades steal the show with dual-tone themes: Ice Grey and Black for five-seaters and Urban Tan and Black for six- and seven-seater Hector Plus variants starting at Rs 17.29 lakh. A 14-inch HD portrait infotainment screen now packs expandable 10GB RAM and i-Swipe gestures—two fingers for HVAC and three for media control. Ventilated seats, Infinity by Harman audio, horizontal AC vents, and a digital auto key elevate everyday drives.
2026 MG Hector Facelift: Multiple Engine Options

For the 2026 edition, both the Hector and Hector Plus variants will be powered by the same engine specifications as the current model. The Hector base variant will be offering the same 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 143 HP and 250 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual or a CVT transmission.
However, the diesel lineup will be powered by a 2.0L producing 170 HP of power and 350 Nm of torque. We can also expect polished NVH for smoother highway runs, backed by MG Shield's 3-year unlimited warranty, RSA, and free services.

New Safety Suites
The 2026 MG Hector Facelift version will be provided with the latest Level 2 ADAS safety features with Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Keep Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking. Six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ESP, hill hold, TPMS, and ABS with EBD ensure top-tier protection. This arsenal positions the Hector as a family fortress in crowded cities.
Conclusion
Priced at Rs 2 lakh below the predecessor base, the 2026 Hector facelift blends value, style, and smarts. Perfect for tech-savvy buyers eyeing premium SUVs. With petrol variants rolling out now, MG eyes a sales resurgence in India's cutthroat market.
