2026 Nissan Tekton Launched in India at Rs 10.49 Lakh
The 2026 Nissan Tekton enters the Indian market with an attractive starting price, offering a balanced mix of performance, design, and features aimed at value-conscious buyers.

Nissan Motor India has recently launched the all-new 2026 Nissan Tekton in India at Rs 10.49 Lakh. With the Tekton, Nissan is aiming to rebuild momentum in the Indian automotive market through a product that looks premium, feels modern, and carries the brand’s familiar tough-SUV character. Backed by Nissan’s “One Car, One World” strategy and built for India at the Chennai plant, the Tekton has been designed to feel premium, purposeful, and globally relevant.
The Tekton arrives with a design inspired by the Nissan Patrol to re-establish Nissan as a serious contender in one of India’s most competitive SUV categories. The company says the model is aimed at buyers who want a commanding road presence, advanced features, and a more distinctive alternative to mainstream rivals.
Design and Dimensions

The all-new Nissan Tekton has taken its design inspiration from the Nissan Patrol. The front end of the car leans more towards a squared, boxy shape than the Renault Duster. The stance is muscular and offers an upright grille, featuring twin chrome slats which are introduced by slim LED headlamps. A styling C-shaped LED DRL gets connected to the two headlamps. Moreover, you might witness a red strip beneath the headlamps running through the front grille. The dimensions of the car are mentioned below:
Length (mm) | 4,348 |
Width (mm) | 1,815 |
Height (mm) | 1,674 |
Wheelbase (mm) | 2,657 |
While looking at the car from the side, the Tekton might resemble the Renault Duster. However, the Nissan Tekton has some different dimensions when compared with the Duster. Even the car is arched with all-new 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, the Tekton features a full-width LED light bar integrated into C-shaped taillights. The car offers a lower bumper mated with a dual-tone colour finish with a skid plate similar to the front. There's also a Tekton lettering on the tailgate.
Interior and Cabin Comfort

While getting inside the car, the driver might experience a dual-tone rose-gold and burgundy dashboard on the front. This dashboard is equipped with a 3-inch spoke steering wheel, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.25-inch digital driver's display. To give its customers a more premium feel, seats have been flanked with premium leatherette upholstery and offer adjustable headrests for all passengers.

The recently launched Nissan Tekton shares the same specs and features as the Renault Duster. However, some of the most essential features of the Nissan Tekton are as follows:

- 6-Way Adjustable Front Seats

The base variant Tekton model will be powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces around 100 HP of power and 166 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission system.
Then comes the higher-spec variant, which will be powered by a 1.3L 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 163 HP of power and 280 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated with a 6-speed manual transmission system. An option for a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system is available for Indian customers. Lak Lakhh
