2027 Hyundai Creta Interior Revealed With Pleos Connect and Advanced Hybrid Tech
The 2027 Hyundai Creta introduces Pleos Connect infotainment, hybrid powertrain options, and major interior upgrades. New features include a large central display, shift-by-wire gear selector, and advanced driver assistance systems.

The upcoming third-generation Hyundai Creta, codenamed SX3, has been spotted with major interior and technology upgrades. The new model, based on Hyundai's advanced K3 platform, is expected to launch later this year or in early 2027. Recent spy shots from California show a redesigned dashboard and new equipment, signaling a significant update for the popular SUV.
Key Highlights
- Third generation Hyundai Creta features Pleos Connect Next Gen Infotainment system
- New Creta will offer hybrid, petrol, and diesel powertrains with advanced energy management
- Interior updates include a large central display, shift by wire gear selector, and enhanced lighting
- Exterior changes feature 19 inch alloy wheels, upright front fascia, and new lighting elements
- Top variants to include all wheel drive and multi link rear suspension
Major Technology Upgrades
One of the most notable changes is the introduction of Hyundai’s Pleos Connect Next Gen Infotainment system. This system integrates infotainment, instrumentation, and connectivity functions. Hyundai announced Pleos Connect recently, and it will soon appear in production vehicles. The new Creta is likely to be the first Hyundai model in India to feature Pleos Connect.
Globally, Hyundai plans to equip over 20 million vehicles across Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis brands with Pleos Connect by 2030. The system supports a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture, enabling advanced digital features and regular software updates. Unlike the current model's dual screens, the new Creta uses a large central display. This screen provides access to the Gleo AI assistant and a modular app market. Essential driving data is shown on a compact screen directly in front of the driver.
Interior and Exterior Enhancements

The new Creta features a repositioned gear selector, now operating as a shift-by-wire stalk. This change creates a cleaner cabin layout and increases storage space under the center console. Other updates include flush-fitted air vents and enhanced ambient lighting for a more immersive interior experience.
The next-generation Creta is expected to be larger, featuring 19-inch alloy wheels and modern pixel-style lighting elements. The front fascia is more upright, with a taller hood line and Hyundai’s new 4-dot logo. Earlier spy shots revealed dual front radars, suggesting the addition of advanced autonomous features.
Powertrain and Suspension Upgrades

The new Creta will offer a hybrid powertrain alongside petrol and diesel options. The hybrid variant is expected to use updated software for Smart Regenerative braking and improved energy management through Pleos OS. These enhancements aim to boost fuel efficiency, especially in city driving conditions. Top variants will include all-wheel drive (AWD) and a multi-link rear suspension, as seen in prototype images.
It is unclear if the hybrid powertrain will be available at launch or introduced later. Updates from the new Creta will eventually reach other Hyundai models, but the Creta will have a technological lead for some time. Despite new competitors like the Tata Sierra, Kia Seltos, and Renault Duster, the Creta is expected to maintain its strong position in the segment with these upgrades.
