New spy images of the 2027 Hyundai Creta reveal a larger central touchscreen and a slimmer digital driver's display. The touchscreen appears bigger than the current 10.25-inch unit and now sits as a freestanding display. It features a new interface, likely Hyundai’s latest Pleos Connect system, which shows key data such as speed, rpm, and fuel level.
Key Highlights
- 2027 Hyundai Creta interior features a larger freestanding touchscreen and slimmer digital driver's display
- New Pleos Connect system introduces an AI assistant and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Creta to offer a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain for the first time alongside existing engine options
Earlier sightings showed an Ioniq 5-like zero-gravity seat button, updated upholstery, and redesigned door trims. The new Creta may also introduce built-in wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Currently, the 10.25-inch touchscreen requires an adapter for wireless connectivity.
Interior and Technology Updates

The Pleos Connect system extends to the driver's display, which now shows speed, media, and turn-by-turn directions. Hyundai will introduce a new AI assistant called Gleo, which will handle vehicle controls and convenience functions through voice commands. Hyundai plans to expand Gleo’s capabilities over time. Over-the-air updates will allow the system to improve and add features in the future.
The navigation system has been updated with simpler menus, clearer icons, real-time traffic data, and a more configurable layout. While much of the dashboard and steering remain hidden, the visible changes suggest a focus on technology and user experience.
Exterior and Platform Changes

Spy shots indicate the new Creta could feature larger 19-inch alloy wheels with a geometric design, replacing the current 18-inch wheels. These wheels may only be available on higher variants and N Line models. The current Creta offers wheels ranging from 16 to 18 inches.
The next-generation Creta is expected to move to Hyundai’s newer and safer K3 platform, similar to the Kia Seltos. The Creta will continue to offer the existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel engines. Both manual and automatic transmission options are likely to be retained.
For the first time, the new Creta will also offer a 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain. The upcoming Kia Seltos hybrid is expected to use the same setup. This addition will position the Creta against hybrid rivals such as the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and the upcoming Renault Duster hybrid.
