Stellantis India is undergoing a significant leadership change as Aditya Jairaj is set to take over as the Managing Director and CEO from January 1, 2024. Aditya Jairaj, who is currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director and Head of Jeep India at Stellantis, brings a wealth of experience spanning over 17 years with him in the automotive sector.
The outgoing CEO, Roland Bouchara, who has successfully led Stellantis India for the past six and a half years, will be assuming a new responsibility in Europe. Bouchara took charge as the CEO and MD in 2021 and played a pivotal role in steering the company through various milestones, including the launch of the Citroen brands in India. His contributions extended beyond his role as CEO, as he also served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Stellantis is a global automotive group that houses renowned brands like Jeep, including models like the Compass and Meridian. The group also encompasses Citroen, which has made a positive impact in the Indian market with models such as the C3, EC3, C3 Aircross, and C3 Aircross.
