Ather Energy Introduces The All-New Ather 450 Apex With Cruise Control On Ather Community Day
The Ather 450 Apex's Infinite Cruise Control offers three smart modes that adapt to varied terrains and traffic, making city commuting effortless and comfortable

Ather Energy today, at the Ather Community Day, launched the all-new model of the existing Ather 450 Apex. The all-new Ather 450 Apex now comes with one of the most sophisticated features for the 2025 edition. The electric scooter is now available with cruise control, setting up new benchmarks in the electric two-wheeler segment.
This flagship model combines high performance, exclusive design, and cutting-edge technology to offer an unparalleled riding experience tailored for urban commuters and enthusiasts alike. The brand has also announced that this feature will be compatible with all the models, such as the 450 series, including the 450S, 450X, and 450 Apex. Let's take a look at the latest details about the new Ather Apex and what it will offer with the most recent updates.
What’s with the cruise control?
The Ather 450 Apex is launched as a limited-edition model celebrating Ather Energy’s 10 years of disrupting the two-wheeler industry with smart electric scooters. Now the e-scooter has been updated with a cruise control called Infiniti Cruise. It's an advanced cruise control system now standard on all new 450 Apex units. This includes three tailored modes—City Cruise for steady speeds on flat roads, Hill Cruise to maintain momentum on slopes, and Crawl Control for ultra-low-speed navigation in traffic.
To activate the cruise control in the e-scooter, an independent toggle for Infinite Cruise is located on the switchbar. By pressing it, you can activate the cruise control smoothly at speeds above 10 kmph. Its intelligent system automatically pauses and resumes cruise control during stops, improving commuter comfort in stop-and-go conditions.
Outstanding Performance and Range
Just with the addition of cruise control, the rest all remains the same. From aesthetics to powertrain. The Ather 450 Apex will be powered by a 7.0 kWh battery, which is capable of producing 10 HP and 26 Nm of maximum torque. This efficient motor is paired with a battery pack that would cover the estimated distance of 157 km on a single charge.
The scooter also offers multiple riding modes—SmartEco, Eco, Ride, Sport, and Warp+—giving riders tailored power delivery for efficiency or spirited riding as per their preferences.
Connected and Intelligent Features

Even the ergonomics control remains the same. The cruise control iteration will boast a 7-inch TFT touchscreen instrument panel integrated with modern Bluetooth connectivity. Additional features such as SMS/call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and Ather’s new Stack 7 software support will enhance the customer riding experience.
