Powertrain and Performance
The Audi E7X will be available with two powertrains. The rear-wheel-drive version produces 408 HP and 500 Nm of torque. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) version delivers a system output of 680 HP and 800 Nm. Audi claims the AWD model can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 3.9 seconds. The E7X uses a 900-volt architecture and offers a choice of 100 kWh or 109 kWh battery packs. The company claims a range of 751 km on the CLTC cycle.
The platform supports 4C fast charging, which allows the battery to gain 429 km of range in just 10 minutes. The E7X also features rear-wheel steering, Brembo brake calipers, and an air suspension system for enhanced driving dynamics.
Interior Features and Technology

The interior of the Audi E7X includes 139.1-degree reclining front seats for comfort when stationary. The dashboard features a 27-inch 4K curved panoramic display and a 3-spoke steering wheel with both physical and touch-enabled buttons. Buyers can choose between 4-seat and 5-seat configurations. All seats offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
The backrests can recline up to 130 degrees and fold at the touch of a button. Rear seats include powered leg rests and 6-way adjustable headrests. A 21.4-inch rear-seat entertainment screen deploys from the headliner. This screen can be used for watching content or playing games via an attached console.
The E7X also includes a 26-speaker Bose audio system with surround sound. Speakers are placed in the front seat backrests and rear seat headrests. An AI-powered voice assistant manages vehicle functions, and a 7.2-litre fridge serves rear passengers.
Safety and Exterior Design

For safety, the E7X is equipped with 23 airbags, an ADAS suite with a lidar sensor, and auto park assist with a memory function. The exterior features vertically stacked Matrix LED headlights connected by over 1,500 triangular LED lights around the closed-off grille. The bumper has functional air intakes for battery cooling. The SUV rides on 22-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels and uses camera-based outside rearview mirrors.
The taillights mirror the design of the front LED DRLs, and the rear bumper includes a silver skid plate. The Audi E7X will remain exclusive to China. It will precede a three-box electric sedan, which is expected to debut in China by 2027.
