Domestic and Export Breakdown

Export markets played a significant role in Bajaj Auto’s growth for the month. Both two-wheeler and commercial vehicle exports contributed substantially to the company’s higher aggregate volumes.

Industry Context and Trends

The strong export performance comes as the broader automotive industry faces challenges related to investment capacity and workforce reskilling. The month also saw developments in trade openings, capacity expansion, and the electrification of bus fleets. Bajaj Auto’s growth aligns with these industry trends, as the company continues to expand its presence in international markets.

Meanwhile, electric vehicle makers are expanding their reach to over 150 cities, supported by a growing portfolio of scooters and motorcycles and battery-swapping initiatives. These trends indicate a dynamic and competitive environment in the Indian automotive sector.

CarBike 360 Says

Bajaj Auto’s strong start to FY27 highlights its growing reliance on exports and resilience in a competitive market. With global demand improving and product strategy aligning well across regions, the company appears well-positioned for sustained growth. Going forward, export momentum and domestic recovery will be key factors shaping Bajaj Auto’s overall performance trajectory.
