The BAJAJ's Chetak Electric 2025, the latest electric scooter from Bajaj Auto, has been officially launched in India. Here's a detailed breakdown of its price, booking details, delivery timeline, features, and competitors.

In April 2022, the Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter held the seventh position in the Indian two-wheeler electric vehicle market, capturing only 2.3% of the market share. However, by April 2023, it climbed to fourth place with a 6.1% market share. The following year, in April 2024, it secured third place with an 11.6% share. Now, as of December 2024, the Chetak has successfully risen to first place, covering an impressive 26.7% market share.
The Chetak Electric 2025 is priced starting at ₹ 1,20,000 to 1,27,243 (Ex-showroom, Bengaluru) for the two variants - Chetak 3502 and Chetak 3501, respectively. The price of the Chetak 3503 has yet not been disclosed but will come into the picture very soon after the launch. These prices can vary a little in the different regions of the country.
Bookings for the Chetak Electric 2025 can be made through the official Bajaj website or authorised dealerships. Deliveries are expected to begin shortly after the launch.
The Next-Gen Chetak Electric is powered by a 3.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is fully protected and placed under the floorbed.
It consists aerodynamic design from the front to provide a better airflow to the battery area to keep it ever cool every time.
The scooter is powered by a next-gen motor with a newly designed motor control unit with an integrated DC-DC converter. All of this put together is claimed to offer a top speed of 73 kmph, a range of total 153 km on a single charge.
Additionally, it comes with a 950-watt on-board charger which can charge the Chetak from 0-80% in just 3 hours.
The new Bajaj Chetak 2025 retains the classic features of its predecessor while introducing a modern touch. It showcases a neo-classic design with a metallic body, highlighted by a circular headlamp with daytime running lights (DRL). The scooter also features a sleek front apron that enhances its contemporary look, complete with integrated turn indicators and a centrally placed Chetak badge.
Additionally, Bajaj has extended the floorboard and increased the length of the single-piece seat by 80 mm, improving comfort and practicality for riders. Lastly, the redesigned tail lamps with a sleeker LED pattern make the rear look gorgeous.

These newly added, advanced IoT features could be possible via the all-new telematics unit installed in the scooter which comes with IMU, VCU, and BCU.
Additionally, there is a special concept in this scooter called the i-Fuse, an intelligent device which has whose only purpose is to monitor the vehicle's current power consumption via various load conditions other than driving such as electronics and things powered by electricity in the vehicle. This device monitors these metrics 24/7 to detect any kind of error such as any electronic malfunction.
