The 450X maintains a sleek and aerodynamic profile, contributing to its sporty appeal. Its bodywork is characterized by sharp lines and a compact form, which enhances its urban mobility functionality. The 450X is available in various colors, including Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue, alongside existing options like True Red and Lunar Grey. 

The front of the scooter features a distinctive headlamp design that implements LED technology, offering improved visibility and adding a contemporary look. This is complemented by LED daytime running lights (DRLs) that enhance safety during daytime riding. Ather has also integrated a newly designed windscreen that not only adds to the aesthetic but also improves aerodynamics. 

The scooter features a state-of-the-art digital instrument console, which includes a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and support for over 16 million colors. Based on Android OS, this display provides a smooth user experience and integrates seamlessly with smartphones through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Ather app allows users to access remote diagnostics, navigation, and locate charging stations.

Riding modes are another highlight of the Ather 450X, offering multiple options such as Warp, Sport, Ride, Eco, and Smart Eco. This flexibility allows riders to customize their experience based on personal preferences or varying road conditions. Safety features include a Combi Brake System (CBS) for enhanced braking performance and regenerative braking technology that helps recover energy during braking.

The scooter features a wider rear tyre, which improves stability at higher speeds and during cornering. However, some riders still note that it may not be the most comfortable option for longer journeys, particularly on rough surfaces.

Charging times for the Ather 450X vary depending on the battery capacity. The 2.9 kWh battery can be charged from 0 to 80% in approximately 3 hours, while a full charge takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes.

For the 3.7 kWh variant, charging to 100% requires around 5 hours and 45 minutes, with fast charging capabilities enabling quicker top-ups. The scooter also features a robust warranty, offering coverage for the battery for up to 3 years or 30,000 km, ensuring reliability over time.

In terms of performance, the Ather 450X reaches a top speed of 90 km/h and offers multiple riding modes, including Eco, Ride, Sport, Smart Eco, and an additional Warp mode available in the Pro Pack variant. This versatility allows riders to choose settings that best suit their driving conditions and preferences, optimizing both performance and energy consumption.
