Ather 450X gets new dual tone colors and faster charging upgrade

Ather Energy has introduced three new dual-tone color options for its 450X electric scooter. The new 'overtone series' features combinations of Still White, Space Grey, and Lunar Grey. Each variant displays the '450' lettering on the side in a contrasting shade, making the design more distinctive.

New Overtone Series Colors

The Space Grey variant is the most understated and includes maroon accents and wheels. The Lunar Grey option uses a lighter grey with yellow highlights on the frame and wheels. The Still White version features a white base with light green accents. These new colors aim to offer more choices to customers seeking unique styles.

Ather continues to sell the Ather 450X in its existing mono colors, Cosmic Black and True Red. Additionally, two matte shades, Hyper Sand and Stealth Blue, remain available. This expanded palette provides a total of seven color options for buyers.

Charging and Technology Updates

Ather has launched a new 900W charger for the 450X. This charger reduces charging time by nearly 30 percent, offering greater convenience for users. The faster charging capability addresses a key concern for electric scooter owners.

At its 2025 community day event, Ather also unveiled AtherStack 7. This new software platform includes the 'Voice on Ather' feature. The company has begun rolling out this feature to customers through an over-the-air software update. The update aims to enhance the user experience by allowing voice commands for various functions.
