Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar NS400Z in Spain, expanding its international presence. The motorcycle enters the Spanish market in full production-spec form, mirroring the value-driven approach seen in India. Bajaj positions the NS400Z at a price point that undercuts several 125cc motorcycles in Spain, offering higher performance for less cost.
Key Highlights
- Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z launched in Spain in full production-spec form
- Spanish model uses 373cc engine with 40hp and 35Nm torque
- Priced at EUR 4,499 it undercuts several 125cc motorcycles in Spain
- MRF Zapper tyres with 140-section rear fitted to Spain-spec model
Key Specifications and Features

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z in Spain uses a KTM-derived 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 40hp and 35Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The Spanish version does not include the recent 3hp increase found in the India-spec model, which is available through a more aggressive Sport mode.
The motorcycle in Spain continues to use MRF Zapper tyres with a 140-section rear. In contrast, the updated India-spec NS400Z uses Apollo Alpha H1 tyres with a wider 150-section rear. These differences highlight regional adjustments in the model's cycle parts.
Pricing and Market Position
Bajaj has priced the Pulsar NS400Z at EUR 4,499 (approximately Rs 4.83 lakh) in Spain. This price point undercuts several 125cc motorcycles, such as the KTM 125 Duke, which is priced at EUR 5,299 (about Rs 5.69 lakh). The NS400Z thus offers a higher level of performance at a lower price compared to some competitors.
In India, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is currently priced at Rs 1.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Spanish launch reflects Bajaj's strategy to offer aggressive pricing and strong value in international markets, similar to its approach in India.
