The Bajaj Pulsar 220F features a semi-faired design, a muscular fuel tank, and a sporty stance that still feels relevant today, allowing the bike to stand out on the road. The brand has introduced fresh colour options that add a modern touch without altering its familiar identity, appealing to buyers. Powering the bike is a 220cc oil-cooled Twin Spark FI DTS-i engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox, delivering strong mid-range performance. The engine produces 20.9 PS of power and 18.55 Nm of torque, making it comfortable for daily commutes as well as relaxed highway cruising.
On the features front, the Pulsar 220F now offers dual-channel ABS, disc brakes at both ends, a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth support, and a USB charging port. Priced at Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom), it remains a budget-friendly option. It competes with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Hero Karizma XMR, and Suzuki Gixxer 250 in the Indian market.

The Kawasaki Z650RS introduces classic motorcycle styling into the modern era with its clean retro design. The bike comes equipped with a round LED headlamp, slim fuel tank, and subtle chrome-like accents. The new Metallic Ocean Blue paint with gold wheels adds freshness while maintaining its old-school charm. The Z650RS uses a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 68 hp and 62.1 Nm of torque. Paired with a six-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch, it delivers smooth power, strong performance, and relaxed highway cruising.
In terms of hardware and features, the Z650RS offers traction control with two modes, dual-channel ABS, telescopic front forks, and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by twin front discs and a rear disc. Priced at Rs 7.83 lakh (ex-showroom), it competes with the Triumph Trident 660, Honda CB650R, and Yamaha XSR700.

Ducati has expanded its sports cruiser lineup with the launch of the XDiavel V4, combining muscular styling with a relaxed riding stance. Visually, it stands out with a long, low silhouette, swept-back handlebars, a massive 240-section rear tyre, and a single-sided swingarm. The updated design is lighter than before and is available in Burning Red and Black Lava colour options. Powering the bike is Ducati’s 1,158cc MotoGP-derived V4 Granturismo engine, producing 168 hp and 126 Nm. This motor delivers explosive acceleration while remaining smooth for long-distance rides, aided by a six-speed gearbox with quickshifter and a chain final drive.
On the feature front, the XDiavel V4 is loaded with modern technology, including a 6.9-inch TFT display with navigation, full LED lighting, four ride modes, and multiple electronic aids such as traction control, wheelie control, cornering ABS, and cruise control. Priced from Rs 30.88 lakh (ex-showroom), it rivals premium cruisers like the Harley-Davidson Sportster S and Triumph Rocket 3.

The 2025 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide is a luxury touring motorcycle aimed at riders seeking a top-tier touring experience. It features a bold front fairing, premium paintwork, and custom-grade detailing. Power comes from a 1,982cc Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 V-twin engine that generates 115 bhp and 189 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox for strong and smooth performance.
The bike offers advanced hardware such as Showa suspension, Brembo brakes, and a large TFT touchscreen with connected features and a premium audio system. It has been launched in India at Rs 63.03 lakh (ex-showroom).

Another December launch from Kawasaki is the Versys 650, which carries forward its familiar adventure-tourer styling with a tall stance, sporty bodywork, and a comfortable upright riding posture. Powering the bike is a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing 67 bhp and 61 Nm of torque. Paired with a six-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch, the motor offers smooth mid-range performance, making it suitable for city riding, highways, and extended touring.
While the overall design remains unchanged and focused on long-distance touring, it now comes with a new grey and black colour scheme with subtle green accents, giving the bike a fresh appearance. Additionally, the Versys 650 gets a 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, full LED lighting, traction control, and E20 fuel compatibility. Priced at Rs 8.63 lakh (ex-showroom), it rivals adventure-focused motorcycles like the Honda NX500 and Moto Morini X-Cape 650 in India.

December 2025 highlights how manufacturers are using year-end launches to sharpen their portfolios rather than chase volumes. From value-driven commuters to tech-heavy cruisers and capable tourers, these bikes reflect a clear focus on refinement, performance, and niche appeal. While not revolutionary, the launches show brands prioritizing rider experience and long-term relevance over flashy, short-lived updates.
